Ground Station
Satellite communications involve the use of artificial satellites to relay signals between different points on Earth. These systems are widely used for various purposes, including television and radio broadcasting, internet access, telephone calls, and data transmission.

Ground stations: also known as earth stations, are located on the Earth's surface and communicate with satellites. They transmit signals to the satellites and receive signals relayed by the satellites.

Uplink and Downlink: The communication process involves two main links: the uplink and the downlink. The uplink is the transmission of signals from a ground station to a satellite, while the downlink is the reception of signals from the satellite back to Earth.
Frequency Bands: Satellite communications utilize different frequency bands, including C-band, Ku-band, and Ka-band, depending on factors such as signal propagation characteristics and regulatory considerations.

Primary objective: communications for payload using Lora.

Secondary objective: demonstration of communications for community workshops involving downlinks from satellites.
